TREE PLANTING.
Kiangure springs environment initiative has established tree nurseries with over 200,000 indigenous tree seedlings.
A clear view of the eastern side of aberdare ranges where forest have been cleared for farming
These trees are planted in the Aberdare forest ecosystem to help restore the lost tree cover due to human activities which include-:
-charcoal burning
-Farming
-Marijuana farming
-logging indigenous trees
-Quarrying –
grazing of livestock .
We also assist local youth groups to establish tree nurseries and then help them to market the trees as an income generating activity.

We also plant trees in schools to boost tree cover in school compounds .
